Only 17 years old and has already achieved so many things in her life! Billie Eilish is full of talent!

Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell was born on December 18^th in 2001 in Los Angles, California. So now she is only 17 years old! This is very young for a songwriter and lyricist. This is all because she was born into a family of musicians and actors and so she has been involved with music from an early age. When she was 8 years old, she joined a choir and at the age of 11 she started writing and singing her own songs. Her elder brother, Finneas O’Connell, had his own band. He  had written the song named “Ocean eyes”. They thought the song suited the beautiful voice of Billie better and so she performed the song for them. After that, they sent it to her dance teacher who wanted to choreograph to the track. Later they released it online. It became a huge success and also her breakthrough!

After her breakthrough she did not immediately knew how to handle this success. She said in an interview: “Who knows how you’re supposed to handle it , you know? There’s no prep for anything like this at all, so I don’t know. When stuff just happens you just kind of have to feel it out. It’s been freaking crazy, so I’m really happy about everything.” Later in that interview she said that she appreciates all the sweet messages and that she loves being recognized. She also said that she loves her fans very much, because it feels like family to her.

Billie is very helpful to others and very sweet, even though she hates smiling. “I hate smiling. It makes me feel weak and powerless and small. I’ve always been like that; I don’t smile in any pictures. If you look at my Instagram, I have a resting bitch face and I guess I just look sad all the time. But you know how when you’re walking down the street and somebody smiles at you? You’re forced to smile back, that’s the polite response. It’s like you have no control over it.”

I don’t like all of Billie Eilish her songs, but I have never doubted her talent for writing and singing songs. So, I admire Billie Eilish a lot. This is because even though she is very young, she has already written so many great songs and she has already achieved so many things in her life. Last month, her first album was released: WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? This album immediately became a huge success!
